About Music City Toys & Collectibles

Music City Toys opened for business Easter weekend of 2002 inside the Hwy 111 Mini Mall just north of Cookeville, TN. Then known as Heroes & Legends, the focus was entirely on sports cards and sports memorabilia.  We had a 10’ x 10’ space filled with 100,000+ baseball, football and basketball cards and collectibles.

Over the years, our inventory began to expand to encompass a wide variety of collecting genres including vintage and modern toys, comic books and pro wrestling memorabilia. Eventually a move was made to a larger space inside the Cookeville Mall in March 2012. There we continued to grow occupying a 600 square foot space and focusing more and more on the world of toys and pro wrestling.

In October 2013, we closed that location and began selling online and at various conventions and fanfests throughout the country. 2020 was a challenging year for everyone. The Covid-19 pandemic cancelled most all events and conventions and forced businesses to reinvent themselves. We spent the year re-focusing on utilizing our social media platforms to grow sales online and had a record year!

Now in 2021, the time is right to re-open a retail location. We hope you will visit our new storefront located 40 miles east of Nashville in the quaint community of Watertown. We will be open the first weekend of every month with special guests from the world of pro wrestling, MMA, movies, TV and sports in store signing autographs. We will also be open select other times throughout the year and by appointment. If you are traveling through middle Tennessee, contact us prior to your trip and set up a time to shop with us. We look forward to meeting collectors from all over the world at our new retail home.
